Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team by overseeing various activities, including submitting detailed activity reports, monitoring market trends, and evaluating competitive developments to inform strategic recommendations. This position collaborates with the marketing, creative, and advertising departments to execute brand management plans and coordinate B2C and internal events. The coordinator creates and manages content across multiple channels, with a strong focus on sustainability, managing external partnerships, and fostering relationships with organizations like Veritree and B Corp. Additionally, this role advocates for sustainability in all marketing strategies, develops sustainability-related content, and stays informed on industry trends through professional development activities.

Please find the key responsibilities of this position is as follows:

  • Submit activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses to management.
  • Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Evaluate market and competitive developments to recommend changes in products, services, and policies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, creative, and advertising departments to align objectives and execute brand management plans.
  • Plan and manage B2C events, ensuring they align with marketing strategies and brand objectives.
  • Coordinate internal team events to foster team cohesion and morale.
  • Create compelling content for various channels, including the website, social media, newsletters, PR, blogs, and applications.
  • Develop and manage sustainability-related content for the website, social media, reports, and campaigns.
  • Manage external partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with brand values and business objectives.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with sustainability partners, such as Veritree and B Corp organizations.
  • Lead sustainability partnerships and be a representative for B Corp partnerships.
  • Advocate for sustainability and prioritize environmental considerations in business relations and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate the development and promotion of sustainability content across all marketing channels.
  • Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and establish personal networks.
  • Participate in professional societies to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

An ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and email communication.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders in a professional, sensitive, and tactful manner.
  • Passion for sustainability and the environment.
