This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Role:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to develop and lead our Inghams and Santa’s Lapland marketing strategy and activities to ensure that we smash our budgeted targets. This is a senior leadership role, with an emphasis on developing our digital marketing and digital customer experience capabilities and driving new customer acquisitions. A key part of the role will be developing the budget for the coming years, and alongside this, a set of performance metrics, increasing visibility of these and being accountable for improving our performance.

  • Define our Inghams and Santa’s Lapland marketing strategy and lead the Marketing team in its planning and implementation.
  • Roadmap, develop and deliver a comprehensive multi-channel digital marketing strategy that drives new acquisition and ROI, enhances customer engagement, and builds long-term consumer loyalty.
  • Integrate direct mail and offline activity appropriately and effectively into the marketing mix.
  • Make effective use of enhanced CRM capability search, pre and post-travel stages of the customer journey.
  • Ensure optimal outcome for all marketing campaigns and activity.
  • Co-ordinate closely across the business to improve digital capability and enhance customer engagement across all touchpoints in the customer journey.
  • Lead our continual brand development.
  • Direct a high-profile PR strategy.
  • Define the content strategy for the business. Take stock of current and future content requirements and devise guidelines for best practice to support a culture where self-serve of content is enjoyed.
  • Develop customer insights and analytics to identify strategies for growth and potential product development.
  • Build a strong relationship between the Marketing and Sales teams with a focus on driving sales growth that prioritises a customer’s needs and preferences at every point.
  • Embed the company’s sustainability principles as a core strategic marketing priority.
  • Set the annual marketing budget and ensure effective spend and control.
  • Advocate a customer-centric culture across the business.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative high performing team environment.
  • Set clear performance goals and objectives for the marketing team.
