Job Description

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans for both Mercure Sydney and Ibis Sydney World Square.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC.
  • Create compelling content for various channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to develop and promote special offers, packages, and events.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as advertising agencies, media outlets, and influencers.
  • Organise and participate in promotional events and activities to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in marketing and hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suites, Canva, CapCut, HTML, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
