CMC are hiring! We have a permanent opportunity for a newly created Marketing Executive to join our Product Marketing team, based in our Barangaroo, Sydney office. Please note that we operate onsite working and would require you to come into our Barangaroo office 5 days per week.
Please note that this role is only open to Sydney based candidates with full, permanent working rights (Citizen/Permanent Resident).

Marketing Executive Role Description
Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing for Australia & NZ, you will collaborate with our Marketing, Product, Lifecycle, Brand, Digital, Customer Support, and Distribution teams. In this role, you will support the Product Marketing Specialist and Head of Product Marketing in shaping the strategy for CMC’s CFD (Contracts for Difference) and share trading product offerings across the Australia & NZ markets.
You will be an outstanding communicator, cross-functional collaborator and passionate about helping clients understand the value of CMC platforms, products and services.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related roles within the financial services or technology sector.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist the Head of Product Marketing and Product Marketing specialist in delivering the CMC’s products (CFDs (Contracts for difference) and Share Trading) product marketing strategy and roadmap across Australia & NZ.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with key business units such as Product, Sales, Customer Support, Compliance, and Business Operations in executing streamlined customer-centric product marketing communications.
  • Support and lead market research projects, opportunity assessments, competitive analysis, and customer feedback initiatives.
  • Support and manage Product Marketing-led campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
  • Monitor product/feature performance and provide insights-led reporting and recommendations to optimise Product Marketing campaigns.
  • Be self-sufficient in using Braze to manage product marketing campaigns and launches end-to-end across various channels, including email, SMS, in-platform pop-ups, and push notifications.
  • Provide insights-led reporting and recommendations to optimize product launches and product marketing campaigns.

General:

  • Partner with product, sales, customer support and marketing teams to drive continued growth, adoption and engagement of our platforms, products, and services.
  • Educate the wider marketing team and organisation on best practices go-to-market, product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
