We are looking for a proven marketing professional to join our leadership team to successfully plan and execute marketing initiatives and strategies that build upon our unique brand promise and support the growth and strategic objectives of AMA Insurance.

You have a deep-level understanding of both online and offline media channels. You thrive on building and developing breakthrough strategies and processes (or enhancing existing ones) to refine our go-to-market plans.
You are proficient in building and driving forward powerful campaigns and can lead a team of experts to optimize results and set direction for insurance growth and digital engagement. You’ll manage expenditures, optimize efficiencies, and customize our media mix.
You’ll bring innovative and integrated approaches both to segmented and new member acquisition and retention through targeted campaigns. This role manages business relationships with our internal business partners and within the advertising industry.
The Insurance Marketing Manager position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Flawless Execution
- Proactively monitor emerging trends within the insurance and marketing industry
- You have a passion for developing and optimizing Omni Channel Campaigns.
- You can strategize and execute integrated campaigns across a range of platforms.
- You have an eye for detail which ensures buying efficiency and customization of the media mix produces results.
- You have experience and expertise in product positioning and messaging, and you love figuring out what drives consumer behaviour and aligning product placement.
- You are an expert in deciphering results and springing into action, continually testing and learning.
Champion Performance
- Deliver personal-based messaging and collateral geared at engaging and supporting customers, specifically when it matters to them (renewal or life event)
- Develop lead generation strategies and campaigns to effectively incubate, qualify, and convert leads.
- Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise-level measurement, analytics, and reporting measures to gauge success.
- Continually test/optimize existing campaigns to identify areas of improvement.
- Perform detailed analysis and report results across journeys, initiatives, campaigns, and segments, and make actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with Optimization & Automation Specialists to ensure full funnel digital buys are effective and member (and prospective member) experience is continually evaluated.
Fostering & Maintaining Relationships
- Meet with business units across the insurance and association to keep current with strategies, needs, changes to products and pricing, market considerations, and the business environment.
- Establish strong working relationships with Marketing and Communications leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that our programs, products, and services are implemented through strategic initiatives and aligned with brand voice.
- Provide ongoing evaluation, mentorship, and guidance to your direct reports.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- Ideally have experience of working within the financial services industry or telecoms and motivated to learn and experience more about this dynamic industry.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading high-performing and engaged marketing teams.
- You have robust experience planning and purchasing online (search, programmatic, PPC) and offline media (broadcast, print, and out of home) and a keen appreciation of newly emerging media channels.
