About The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director, Content Strategy and Brand, the Marketing Specialist will develop various marketing materials (including email marketing, videos, ads, and infographics) for B2B and internal campaigns. They will also support our company’s social media strategy, calendar, and content. Their creative and analytical thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in driving our company’s narrative, enhancing our organization’s image, improving communication with clients, and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.
This job is 90% remote — must be able to come into our offices in Dorval, QC, Montreal, QC, and Laval, QC, as needed for video shoots and other in-person activities.
Must also be able to travel to our other locations two to five times a year.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Build B2B marketing campaigns (from A to Z) and tools to raise brand awareness and generate leads/sales: social media, email marketing, digital advertisements, website content (blogs, service summaries), etc.
  • Develop and source content for digital platforms.
  • Create, film, and edit videos (pre- and post- production), including scripts (Examples: series of Ask an Altascientist, brand awareness, and others).
  • Assist in social media optimization strategies.
  • Assist in SEO optimization projects.
  • Identify and engage with vendors (especially to secure ad space, article publication, etc.).
  • Build internal marketing campaigns (from A to Z) and tools to raise brand awareness amongst employees at Altasciences.
  • Ensure brand unity across all Altasciences’ sites and locations.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly marketing reports.
  • Any other related tasks as needed, such as (but not limited to) formatting existing presentations, updating templates, and proofreading/copyediting.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Liberal Arts, Humanities, or equivalent (DEC or Bachelor’s).
  • 2-3 years in a marketing role.
  • CRO or Pharma industry experience will be considered an asset.
  • Exhibits Altasciences’ core values of respect, integrity, and quality and excellence.
  • Solid understanding of social media (LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Experience with video and content design tools (Canva, Movavi/Premiere Pro/iMovie)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), LinkedIn Ads
  • Strong computer literacy (namely Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Drupal).
