JOB DESCRIPTION:
In order to support the Fuel Cell Systems Team within the Environmental Controls System Department, Airbus Operations is looking for a
MASTER THESIS STUDENT (D/F/M) FOR DEVELOPMENT AND SIMULATION OF CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR A LABORATORY COOLING SYSTEM OF A FUEL CELL SYSTEM IN MATLAB/SIMULINK
You are looking for a master thesis in a research and development environment and want to work on Fuel Cell Systems and components? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Fuel Cell Systems Team as a Masters student (d/f/m)!
Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells enable an efficient and locally emission free energy conversion. This is why they are considered as important technologies to tackle the necessary mobility transition towards a sustainable aviation industry.
This master’s thesis focuses on the design and simulation of a control system for a laboratory cooling system specifically developed to cool a fuel cell system. The task involves modeling the cooling system, developing control algorithms for precise temperature regulation, and ensuring efficient heat dissipation. The control system must be able to respond to varying load conditions and external influences to maintain the optimal operation of the fuel cell system.
The goal of this thesis is to develop a robust and flexible control system that ensures the thermal stability of the fuel cell system under laboratory conditions.
