Description:

We are looking for a CBT Therapist to join our existing Gedling Mental Health Support Team.
The Nottinghamshire MHST team now comprises 9 clinical teams across Nottinghamshire, you would be joining an existing team of CBT Therapists and join existing CPD and supervision networks alongside EMHP and Specialist Practitioner Colleagues.
We are looking for a CBT Therapist to work alongside our EMHP’s and specialist practitioners to provide CBT interventions on a 1:1 basis in schools and via occasional remote delivery.
The MHST sits within Nottinghamshire CAMHS service.
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service offers treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 for mild to severe emotional and mental health needs. There are four multi-disciplinary Community Teams supporting Nottinghamshire along with specialist teams such as Eating Disorders, Head 2 Head, CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment, CAMHS Neuro, Children Looked After & Adoption, Primary Mental Health, Perinatal services and East Midlands Community Forensic Child & Adolescent Health Service (FCAMHS).
Our core purpose is to work with children and young people and their families/carers, who may be experiencing emotional and mental health disorders that have a significant impact on the child’s development and cause distress to the child and/or their carers. We aim to improve the mental health of all children and young people with the provision of a timely, integrated, high quality, effective, multi-disciplinary county wide service.

TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day. There will be opportunity for 1:1 and group work but also the chance to support in the delivery of the whole school approach to project schools
The role is to sit alongside CBT Supervisors recruited within the team and is part of a clear supervision structure. There will also be opportunities for supervision and additional training at the linked universities for CPD purposes, this training will be fully funded.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made as required in line with the Equality Act 2010
