Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Public Health, Sociology, Economics, or equivalent degree.
• A Certificate / Qualification in M&E course is advantageous.

Required Experience

• At least two years of professional experience in an M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities for development projects.
• Experience with both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools.
• Familiarity with data quality assurance and management.
• Experience in basic data analysis.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with local stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
• Good computer applications and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in diversified environments.
• Willingness and availability to travel and, on occasion, to work long and/or irregular hours.
• Numerical reasoning and basic analytics/monitoring & evaluation.

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and implementing the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework for the program, via quality assurance activities, performing spot checks, and data collection. S/he will collaborate with the M&E Manager to coordinate visits across the main field site and remote sites for data collection and observation. This will help in assisting the line manager with consolidated findings and reports to aid in project improvements and iterations.
