REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of experience is required in Securities Lending
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Physics, Math, Finance, etc.)
• Strong analytical abilities and high-quality awareness
• Excellence in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of VBA and Python is a plus
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Securities Lending landscape.
• Experience in other financial Instruments: derivatives, equities, equity related securities and FX is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and perform in many roles in an ever-changing environment
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is essential as well as multitasking
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting line: Head of Brokerage
Location: London, UK
Worksite: flexible (remote/onsite)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate the best execution for our clients in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor client and own position, hedge when necessary
• Manage Post Trade requirements relating to Settlements and Collateral
• Management and resolve routine problems and queries, escalating more complex issues to other departments
• Identify opportunities to automate processes by introducing systemic solutions and automation
• Take ownership of projects assigned to the Trade Desk
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for the Head of Brokerage, highlight areas that can be proactively improved
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to promote quality of service, ensuring the timely escalation and resolution of issues and queries.
• Communicate with counterparties and the IT team to resolve any trading discrepancies
• Work closely with counterparty relationship managers to onboard and maintain close working relationships with existing counterparties
• Work closely with internal compliance to ensure the best trading controls in an ever-changing market
