Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
NextGen Montessori will cater to children from 6 months to six years of age, offering Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs. Our centres will deliver high-quality, accessible, and inclusive early childhood education and care. Our approach emphasises child-centered learning through structured play and nature experiences, with strong connections to local communities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Qualified Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care. Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring that all practices adhere to the Education and Care Services National Law Act and Regulations, the National Quality Framework, and align with the service’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Complying with established routines, policies, processes, and practices.

Building and nurturing strong relationships with children and families within the service.

Assisting in creating a Montessori mixed with play-based learning environment that responds to children’s interests, strengths, and abilities.

Contributing to the planning and implementation of programs that reflect the children’s emerging skills and interests, and supporting continuous improvement through reflective practice.

Developing partnerships with families and the community to support the children’s learning and development.

Collaborating with staff to enhance the service’s operations and achieve continuous improvement.

Attending and actively participating in staff meetings, educator and network gatherings, and professional development opportunities.

Supporting the team in maintaining accurate records and documents to meet legislative requirements.

Staying updated on current trends in educational practice within the sector.

Actively engaging in the employee performance review process
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Montessori Diploma/Advance Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood will be highly regarded, certificate III, trainee
Current Police and Working with Children’s Checks
First Aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications
Protecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations (PROTECT) Certificate
Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
Current all about allergens for children’s education and care certificate
