Network Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Engineer

On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced engineer to design, test, and secure large-scale network infrastructure for offshore industrial projects, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the network infrastructure design and ensure it meets customer requirements
• Take part in FAT testing to verify configurations of switches, routers, firewalls, and other equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments of supplier packages and systems based on the IEC62443 Cybersecurity Standard
• Coordinate and communicate with other teams, suppliers, contractors, and the client
• Organize and lead Risk Vulnerability Analysis workshops.

• Possess multidisciplinary knowledge and take a proactive approach by seeking advice, offering guidance, and sharing experience throughout design processes
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Communicate well in English both orally and in writing
• Fluency in Norwegian will be considered an advantage

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience from engineering in design, configuration, testing and support of large network infrastructures, including configuration of Switches, Firewalls and Servers
• Minimum 2 years working experience with network design or cyber security, preferably in Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Experience in designing and testing communication networks and protocols, including Modbus, Profibus, IEC61850, TCP/IP, Ethernet, OPC UA, and others
• Experience with IEC62443 and Equinor technical requirement (TR) 1658

Education:

• Relevant bachelor degree or similar
