Compensation range: $60-$65 Hourly CAD
The Compensation Range includes the span between the minimum and maximum base salary. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum base salary and can be considered for an employee with full job knowledge, required qualifications and experience for the position.

ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS
We are currently looking forward to welcoming a Full-time HCA Program Developer. You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the Director of Academics. You’ll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in higher education and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada. You will be responsible for designing and developing inclusive educational content, resources and curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current practicing license as an HCA, LPN, RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Five (5) years of full-time nursing experience (Required)
- Licence/Certification: BCCNM registration (required)
- Strong work ethic, communication- oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Nursing program requirements, including all instructional competencies and learning objectives.
- Experience developing and submitting program and course outlines to PTIB and nursing regulator for approval.
- Knowledge of MS Office and database systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and submit the HCA program and course outlines to PTIB and the nursing regulator for approval.
- Develop an operational plan to run the program. This includes establishing the budget and sourcing materials and equipment, facility set up and staff recruitment and training.
- Through research, analysis, monitoring and understanding, generates new programming ideas.
- Develop internal and external relationships with career practitioners to support appropriate program development.
- Cultivates formal partnerships with academic departments, research centres, and Academic Support
- Develop inclusive career-embedded curriculum, ensuring appropriate competencies and learning outcomes meet learner needs.
- Project-manages own and occasionally peer curriculum development work, including tracking and communication of progress towards milestones and deadlines.
- Supports marketing and sales team with the curriculum web pages on the CICCC Website.
- Provides consultations and advice to Career Service Specialists on career development programming.
- Develop learning materials that support the learning objectives and planned activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
