Description:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A degree in theology or biblical studies is highly desirable.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in course creation or curriculum design, preferably in a higher education institution
- Strong understanding of Christian theological principles, their application in instructional design, and an understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and best practices in digital learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with FULLER Equip’s instructional developers and Director of Content and Learning to understand the course development process.
- Collaborate with SMEs to identify learning objectives and develop course content that aligns with organizational goals.
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, assessments, and multimedia resources.
- Apply instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to ensure content is relevant and effective.
- Implement instructional strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning programs
