We have a great opportunity for a Performance Analyst to join our Connections team at Electricity North West based in Salford or Preston.
Responsibilities:
OUR ROLE
As a Performance Analyst, you will directly influence Connections compliance and reporting through data quality assurance, identifying any risks or issues, and proposing solutions to address issues and mitigate the risks.
You will assist in the development of business-critical Business reporting to reflect the dynamic needs of the organisation, as well as compiling timely, accurate and quality Regulatory reports.
To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you should expect to do:
- Assist in the definition, implementation, testing and embedding of a reporting regime to facilitate the delivery of timely, accurate and quality reporting, including the preparation of annual RRP submissions in line with Ofgem requirements.
To support the business on regulatory requirements, continuously improving the governance and minimising risk.Assist in the specification of measures to monitor data quality improvements and support data quality improvements that focus on compliance with regulatory obligations for the Customer and Connections Directorate.
To apply for this Performance Analyst role, you will have track record of strong performance in a business support/analyst role. We also require the following:
- Experience in a regulated business Utilities experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP software.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence / Management Information principles
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly with Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is desirable but not essential.
- Detailed knowledge of data quality assurance.
- Understanding / awareness of other relevant obligations eg GDPR.
- Experience in a Business Performance / Assurance role.
- Track record of detailed Business Performance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills
