Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our esteemed client, a prestigious private legal firm located in Leeds vibrant center, is on the lookout for a seasoned personal injury fee earner to join their team. The perfect applicant will have a fervent dedication to their craft, a steadfast commitment to delivering outstanding service, and a relentless drive to secure the most favorable results for their clients. This position involves the oversight of a diverse array of personal injury cases, including RTA/EL/PL files, spanning pre-litigation, active litigation, and intricate matters.
Responsibilities:
Ability to manage a caseload of Fast Track claims (Multi Track experience desirable but not essential)
Handle general call queries and participate in team communications (Claimant and Third Party).
Instruct medical experts and review medical evidence.
Review Claimants losses and vehicle-related losses.
Assess liability and prospects of each case.
Draft witness statements on behalf of the Claimant.
Attend conferences with Counsel.
About You:
AT LEAST 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE HANDLING LITIGATED CLAIMS
A dedicated and personable individual with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of the MOJ Portal or OIC is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your workload.
Capable of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to independently manage a caseload and settle files
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
Good people skills for teamwork and building relationships with co-workers and clients
Good written and spoken communication skill
