JOB SUMMARY :

• Evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation services
• Vestibular rehabilitation assessment and treatment
• Orthopaedic injury assessment and treatment
• Chronic pain education and treatment strategies
• Exercise prescription and progression
• Group education and exercise circuits
• Making physician referrals and monitoring adherence to medical recommendations
• Balance and mobility training for clients with concussion/head injuries.
• Formal report writing, participation in team meetings, and in person and telephone communication with stakeholders/referral sources
• The Physiotherapist will work in a team that includes Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists/Counselors, Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapists, Physicians, and Kinesiologists.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia
• New graduates and Physiotherapists with experience in other practice areas are encouraged to apply as comprehensive mentorship and training can be provided for the right candidate
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service
• An interest in vocational rehabilitation and active holistic treatment
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• A positive and energetic team player
