Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Applications are invited for the post of Post-Doctoral Researcher to join the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics, based at the School of Computer Science & I.T., University College Cork, Ireland. The appointed candidate will work on a project in deep reinforcement learning with multiple objectives and agents, with application to problems in risk analysis from fields such as diplomacy and security. This is an opportunity to work in a world-class research centre on applying state-of-the-art machine learning methods to complex and interesting problems.
Ideally the candidate should have a background in deep learning, especially deep reinforcement learning. Knowledge of multi-objective optimisation, game theory or adversarial risk analysis would also be useful but not vital.
