Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Consultant specializing in Financial Transformation Services. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, leading financial transformation projects that drive operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance financial performance. You will work closely with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and tactical solutions, helping them navigate the complex landscape of digital finance and technology-driven change.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial consulting or as a CFO / Head of Finance, with a focus on financial transformation, process improvement, return on investment analysis, or finance technology enablement.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing and leading projects for high-profile clients, preferably in industries like manufacturing, high-tech, or life sciences.
- Client Focused: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to gain client trust and deliver value through insights and problem-solving.
- Financial Expertise: Deep knowledge of financial and accounting processes (e.g., financial planning, forecasting, reporting, asset management, cash management), and experience with finance transformation technologies (e.g., ERP, RPA, AI).
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to understand complex client issues and deliver tailored solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and confidently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Technological Proficiency: Experience in implementing financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or PMP certification is a plus.
- Consulting Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
- Change Management: Experience in change management practices to ensure Successful adoption of financial transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and understanding their business challenges and transformation goals.
- Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex financial transformation projects, from initial assessment to strategy development and implementation.
- Financial Strategy & Advisory: Provide expert financial and operational advisory services, aligning client’s strategic objectives with financial performance improvements.
- Project Leadership: Oversee project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to consultants and analysts, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement financial transformation solutions, leveraging industry best practices, innovative technologies, and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, RPA, AI).
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within existing client relationships and contribute to proposals for new clients.
- Thought Leadership: Stay current with industry trends in finance, technology, and digital transformation. Present insights through whitepapers, presentations, and client workshops.
- Risk Management: Manage project risks and ensure successful financial, operational, and risk controls are integrated into client processes.
- ROI Analysis: Assist in the creation and validation of return on investment analysis models for the client’s initiatives and digital roadmap
