  • Tertiary Qualifications with minimum 6 years relevant defence industry experience OR 10 years previous experience working within similar position within a matrixed organisation (defence organisation will be of benefit)
  • Prior experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Proven experience in managing teams, KPI’s and contractual deliverables in defence industry
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA) – NV1

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key military personnel and key agencies in region.
  • Gather intelligence on relevant programs in region to establish requirements for L3Harris TCOM, IVS and BCS technology within region.
  • Continually gain knowledge of Defence Funding, key Governmental Policies, changes and trends, providing assistance to key stakeholders (end-users, acquisition authorities, OEMs etc.) to support the successful execution of their programs.
  • Provide reports and returns to Management in accordance with established process and procedure, and in accordance with Australian (and regional) compliance and governance regulation and need.
  • Develop, establish & maintain teaming / strategic arrangements with other companies in region, as required.
  • Assess and analyse technical application of L3Harris products and competing equipment to meet Customer’s needs.
  • Provides, presents and interprets designs, applications and service information to Business Development staff and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Director Sales/Account Management and Managing Director L3HCA in establishing and maintaining relationships with key Government and Political stakeholders.
