In this role you will be responsible for supporting our product units and operations in creating and maintaining configurable product structures and managing global product data, in Drive Products division in Helsinki. We are looking for curious teammates, who are passionate about problem-solving and technology.
You will participate in new product creation projects, guiding the project team in product data management related work as well as performing data quality control tasks. As you will also participate in ongoing PLM program you will have the opportunity to define and develop the product information specialist role based on your previous experience and industry best practices.
This position reports to Manager, Product Information Management.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Managing configurable product structures with ABB product structure tools and SAP Variant Configurator
• Creating and maintaining product information in ERP
• Developing practices for a more efficient product development and product configuration for ERP system
• Collaborating with global cross-functional teams, such as design, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Identifying opportunities for process and tool improvements and staying up-to-date with the latest features and updates in product data management (especially SAP ERP and PTC Windchill) to optimize data management in the long run

Qualifications for the role:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant field of engineering
• At least few years of experience in product data management and ERP
• Basic knowledge of Configuration Lifecycle Management
• Experience with SAP Variant Configuration
• Good written and spoken communication in English and Finnish
