Responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing plans to create, price, promote and design the sales process for our Value-Added Products (VAPS) across our digital, contact centre and operational teams. The role has with a strong commercial focus on product positioning, positioning with our core products, pricing and discount strategies, market research, point of sale materials and final mile conversations. Collaboration across sales, marketing and operational teams will be a crucial component in the success of this role.
The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Global best practice teams, legal, product development, sales, operations, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing promotion and conversion rates for of our products. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills, with an emphasis on market research, product, pricing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Develop product positioning strategies to differentiate our products and where they add value to our differing customer segments
  • Define and execute pricing strategies that align with market demand, competitive pricing, and product value
  • Work closely with Customer Service Centre and Operations to develop sales strategies, enablement tools, and pricing guidelines
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure smooth product launches, inventory management, and fulfillment processes
  • Create compelling product messaging, sales collateral, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences
  • Monitor product performance, competitive activity, and market trends to make data-driven marketing and pricing decisions
  • Inter/intrastate travel required on a business needs basis
