Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

To design, develop and drive implementation of the enablers of the Client Value Proposition (CVP) that is aimed at deriving mutual beneficial business value and growing our transactional base while ensuring alignment to Nedbank’s Consumer Banking customer led strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build synergies across the cluster business functions to design, develop and execute enablers to improve sales capabilities in key strategic portfolio tilt (SPT) battlegrounds for Transactional Products and cross sell opportunities across a range of Nedbank products.
  • Monitor implementation and execution of sales capabilities and strategies across Consumer Banking Channels.
  • Ensure client and stakeholder expectations are understood and met and build relationships through regular collaborations and engagements.
  • Provide continuous sales leadership through the monitoring of targets met and guiding teams where required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cluster executives, to unlock sales and service opportunities.
  • Manage relevant business strategies and sales campaigns within consumer banking channels to ensure increased profitability.
  • Monitor performance of Channel and teams by developing and implementing capabilities and enablers to achieve sales growth and KPI’s as per set targets. .
  • Optimise performance by implementing tailored solutions to business specific problems across Consumer Banking Channels
  • Report on progress towards strategic business objectives, facilitating adjustments of support across business units to maximise the success of the strategic objectives, (Revenue, costs, operational excellence, and competitiveness)
  • Analyse and report to key business committees on business objectives and targets through effective cross sell initiatives at Consumer Banking Channels.
  • Build capabilities by identifying current and future systems and development needs to improve efficiencies, quality of processes, sales, and revenue streams.
  • Identify and manage key strategic risks to prevent loss by enforcing internal controls, and ensuring staff, business, and cross functional teams’ adherence through the implementation of effective risk management processes for onboarding, screening and fulfillment of CVP’s.
  • Improve processes and systems contributing to improved client service and sales delivery of all enablers within Consumer Banking Channels
  • Develop and manage strategic enablement initiatives and relationships, including growth opportunities, action planning, day-to- day relationships and business growth forecasting for key strategic levers.
  • Provide ongoing expert decision support for all parts of the value chain that meaningfully contributes to sales growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Group governance framework, segment strategy and operating model and any statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Participate in project teams as an SME and lead the team to deliver on the business specifications.
  • Conduct Change management on solutions and improvements to ensure business onjectives are met.
  • Conduct ongoing reseach and insights to improve the CVP.
