Summary
This position is located in the Novanta Innovation Center Photonics in Wackersdorf. A Production Planner is responsible for the internal coordination of the material flow and the order management and planning in the ERP System.

Primary Responsibilities

• Internal job order management in the ERP system
• Coordination of the material flow for production in close cooperation with the different departments
• Generation of the needed purchase notifications the cover the production demand
• Administration and permanent tracking of production orders für the different product lines, RMAs and the orders in the cutting-machine department
• Coordination of the orders in the cutting-machine department in agreement with the responsible manager
• Update of the production orders und the relevant ERP system data to sustain the operational SAP processes
• Deadline and capacity monitoring to update the job monitor
• Participation in the different NPI projects to update the ORR
• Sourcing of consumables and equipment for the production dept.
• Support by creation and maintenance of quality documents
• Task control and resource planning for the production dept. in agreement with the responsible manger

General Tasks

• Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar
• Strong knowledge in planning and production scheduling
• Knowledge of and experience in ERP systems
• Product (BOM) Structure for Operations Processes
• Excellent organizational skills
• Team player
