Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Programming Coordinator to join our SCA (Channel Ten) team based in Canberra. This role will ensure SCA’s TV licenses program related material is scheduled in accordance with Commercial TV Industry Code of Practice and as required by the business. You will coordinate on-air promo material for SCA’s TV programs and brands. You will provide support to both the TV Programming and Regulatory Compliance Manager as well as the Programming team as required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Produce & distribute Program Schedules
  • Produce & distribute Daily Program Amendments
  • Produce and update schedules in IBMS Planning
  • Create Electronic Program Guides (EPG)
  • Liaise with Network Programming Departments
  • Liaise with internal departments in relation to program procedures and scheduling opportunities
  • Debrief schedules (after telecast)
  • Book/Record Tape material
  • Handle Public Queries (written code & non-code)
  • Handle Program Queries (Internal)
  • Monitor Australian Content
  • Produce and Monitor Sports Schedules
  • Monitor Promo Material on hand and how it is scheduled across the group
  • Create Promo Commissioning List
  • Create Local Promo Key Numbers
  • Responsible for replacement promo material
  • Monitor and Produce Weekly Ratings Reports where applicable
  • Liaise with TV Events (Nielsen) regarding Program Variances from Network
  • Provide support to the TV Programming and Regulatory Compliance Manager in an administration function
