SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION

Under the responsibility of the Vice-president - Operations Accoiunting, the Project Manager - Operations Accounting will supervise the implementation of operations accounting projects and monitor them.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics.
  • Have between 3 and 5 years of expoerince in a similar position.
  • Have an experience in finance and control within a multinational company.
  • Have an experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Have knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Have knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
  • Demonstrate communication skills.
  • Be teamwork and collaboration oriented.
  • Dmonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be dynamic and results-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Target optimization or automation opportunities on current processes, recommend them and implement them.
  • Participate in the implementation of new systems, perform tests and configure in SAP.
  • Ensure the compliance and validity of transaction data in the computer system.
  • Build financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Participate in the establishment of relevant KPIs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the SAP system and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Be the BI and SAP reference as a super-user.
  • Participate in the month-end process.
  • Participate in the annual budget process.
  • Implement management tools.
  • Standardize our methods and set up procedures for the department.
  • Be a backup for the operations accounting team in the event of departures or unforeseen events.
  • Have a functional analyst role in collaboration with IT.
  • Participate in acquisitions and integration of new entities.
  • Train and onboard new members.
