The successful candidate will support one of our clients on site within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (located within Treaty 6 Territory and Homeland of the Metis).

The job function will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Develop and execute Underground Capital Projects including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Manage projects within the site owner’s Project Management Framework.
• Develop project scope with appropriate stakeholders.
• Secure project materials and resources by utilizing the site owner’s procurement process.
• Perform field visits to coordinate material and labor resources and ensure work is safely progressing according to plan.
• Monitor and forecast project budget and schedule to ensure plans are on track.
• Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Meet specific project KPI’s as required.
• Engage with relevant project stakeholders including project reporting to management.
• Perform Continuous Improvement of the Project Management Process.

In this role, you will manage projects supporting the client’s capital project portfolio as an owner-representative project manager in a Potash mining environment. Requires focus on collaboration and working with stakeholders, scheduling, planning and tracking budgets and long term commitment.
Shift schedule is Monday to Thursday 6 am - 4pm 10-hour days.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of owner’s representative industrial project management experience;
• Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field
