Description:
SAP Platform team acts as a central team servicing all CIOs within MTD providing product architecture roadmap, reliability, best practice adoption and resilience. As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our strategic programmes and will be responsible for having control on the dates, technical risks, delivery framework alignment across all the projects that are delivered within the platform.
This role is within the MTD function, part of the wider COO organisation, which is responsible for delivering IT solutions which have our customers and colleagues at heart. Reporting into our SAP Platform Lead and will oversee project management and governance, supporting the delivery of our strategic programmes, particularly in the SAP technology set.

ABOUT YOU
- Strong experience of working within a complex change management environment
- Good experience in change delivery for the level of role required (including project management, release management, inception, delivery, demand planning and PMO) within small to medium scale complex change environments
- Good understanding of change and run lifecycles gained through tangible experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of change and run methodologies recognisable at Industry (i.e. waterfall, agile, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, IT Service Management)
- Good business / regulation knowledge as required in order to deliver complex change initiatives on behalf of regulated parts of the business
- Good stakeholder management experience
- Good negotiating, influencing, motivational and leadership skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels
- Planning, reporting and managing delivery
- Experience or basic understanding of SAP landscape

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of various initiatives through the change lifecycle - identifying and implementing appropriate methodologies, help create a collaborative team and demonstrating an agile mindset where appropriate, to enable efficient change delivery and supports the team in self-sustainability
- Create project plan using relevant tools (excel, Microsoft project, etc.) and track the plan to delivery working alongside internal and external teams.
- Responsible for the overall status reporting to relevant stakeholders on a weekly basis showcasing the in-flight work across all areas within SAP platform.
- As a project lead, you would be accountable to ensure Business, Regulation, Technology Service/Run process & control requirements are met in accordance with policy & control standards, ensuring the project and team adhere to the value delivery framework
- Guide our colleagues within the teams we support and the wider organisation on our connection to the Society priorities via the Golden Thread
- Work with key stakeholders on the development and execution of performance optimisation, cost and sourcing strategies, agreeing and contributing to cost out initiatives and budget and financial oversight
