Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager / SCRUM Master to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Project Manager / SCRUM Master
Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia
What you will be doing:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master with a strong background in Agile methodologies and technical project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, improving project processes, and driving continuous improvement in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Leadership & Mentorship:
- Act as a servant leader and mentor for multiple Agile teams, guiding them in adopting and implementing Agile practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of Agile processes, leveraging industry best practices and innovative techniques.
- Coach and develop other Scrum Masters, fostering their growth and enabling them to succeed in their roles.
- Project Management & Coordination:
- Lead project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, funding limitations, and resource allocation.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
- Establish work plans and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Review and assess project proposals, identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align project initiatives with strategic goals.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate the resolution of complex challenges and conflicts within and between teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and trust.
- Technical Involvement & Continuous Improvement:
- Mentor and encourage developers, promoting continuous improvement of Agile SCRUM practices.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of project information.
- Review project status reports, modify schedules, and plans as required.
Required Skills & Experience:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Seven or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem-solving
- Five years of successfully managing complex projects
- Experience and ability in using “soft skills” or “people skills”
- Good understanding of current and emerging technologies, and of how other enterprises are using them to drive digital business
- Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches
- Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools, with a solid track record of practical application
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment in which this role may not directly control resources
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
- Ability to support a tactical resource plan by mapping future demand to forecast project completions in the project portfolio
Nice to haves:
- Experience in Supply Chain Logistics is a plus
