Description:

ABOUT THE PROJECT MANAGER POSITION

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. The team is responsible for software product development both used internally and delivered externally to our clients. Our work includes the evolution and research of the products for our users needs as well as the build and implementation of new features against a roadmap of work. Our work includes experience design, digital marketing, eCommerce, CMS, and CRM implementations, and data management.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will help to organize and execute the roadmap plans of our products. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a natural leader, an advocate for your team and your Product Manager, have a passion for technology and possess very strong project management, communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing work backlogs, team resourcing, and project schedules, and metrics for several products
  • Maintain an understanding of the team’s capabilities and be able to match those capabilities up with specific project needs. Recognize gaps in capabilities and work with management and other functional discipline leaders to devise solutions to fill those gaps.
  • Solve problems. Recognize the nature of each problem and ensure the right people are involved to help solve it. Be an active contributor to that solution, not just a communication facilitator.
  • Work with team members to ensure that project work is in line with product’s short- and long-term priorities
  • Deliver regular status reports
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure the right people are on the right projects at the right time.
  • Work to help define and enhance project processes, ensure teams are following appropriate processes. Know why process is important but don’t be afraid to deviate from it when the situation warrants it. Draw on your experience and creativity to suggest and implement process enhancements.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between various teams as needed. Break down barriers that impede progress.
  • Create, manage, and communicate project/initiative schedules to all involved parties and stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and projects that involve building websites, web applications, or mobile apps backed data and content
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Experience and proficiency of managing a team and projects using scrum methodologies and ceremonies
  • Deep knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques, and processes and when each is best applied
  • Know a bit of everything that goes into executing a software development project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer/stakeholder service skills
  • Ability to interact seamlessly with technical, creative, and strategic groups in organizations
