Description:
Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented Propulsion System Engineer to help us in our mission to develop the design, testing, verification, and validation of our propulsion system for Nyx Earth.
Responsibilities:
In your capacity as Propulsion System Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
- Own development of new or existing products or systems and guiding team through the end-to-end development process.
- Transform system requirements into hardware concepts and trade implementation and architecture options.
- Achieve conceptual and detailed performance calculations, systems analyses, and designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to address interface requirements and resolve integration challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Define and maintain an integrated development roadmap at system and subsystem levels.
