We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Skincare Category & Purchasing Manager to join our team of six with diverse personalities, shared core values, and a strong collaborative spirit. You will be a vital part of our team, focusing on the skincare category, dedicated to delivering top skincare brands and trends to our customers.
YOUR ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Several years of experience in commercial buying and/or assortment management. Beauty background is a plus!
- Fluency in both German and English is required
- Familiarity with e-commerce and strong analytical skills to evaluate performance, data & KPI’s, and the ability to make decisions based on them
- Proficiency in MS Office/G-Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and track record of successful outcomes
- An open, customer-oriented, and above all friendly and professional communication style
Responsibilities:
- You will Independently manage industry suppliers in the skincare sector
- Coordinate, plan, and implement meetings on conditions, brand, and product innovations within the area of responsibility
- Serve as an interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Category Management, Trade Marketing, Campaign Management) for inquiries
- Regularly analyze KPIs to monitor portfolio performance
- Collaborate closely with other team members in the Assortment & Purchasing Team
- Responsible for brand and trend scouting as well as onboarding new brands and products
