Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding, testing, and reporting on the behaviour of our tools and systems, playing a critical role in ensuring the functionality, performance, reliability, and safety of our robots. You will work with our engineering teams to define the requirements for our systems, build tools to validate that they meet those requirements, and help to ensure that we deliver high-quality, functioning products to customers and internal stakeholders.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.
  • Executing manual test cases and identifying defects.
  • Supporting the development of automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs and other issues.
  • Conducting regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Working closely with software and hardware engineers and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
