An exciting opportunity for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our client, a leading engineering solutions company. This role will involve travel to various client sites as projects are completed nationwide but primarily can be based out of one of the offices in Cork, Limerick or Dublin. This role will be on a permanent contract and experience in Electrical or Civil Engineering would be preferred.

Responsibilities:

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • The QA/QC Engineer will review and issue final handover packages to the clients.
  • The QA/QC Engineer will collaborate with other contractors and request and inspect commissioning certification from them.
  • The QA/QC Engineer will ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and testing of the project.
  • Liaise with the client on installation and quality matters.
  • Carry out and report on project quality audits for compliance with procedures and processes.
  • Facilitate quality training including induction and refresher training.
  • Develop and Maintain the QMS ensuring fitness for purpose – propose amendments where necessary
  • Create and maintain Quality Plans for projects.
  • Coordinate and deliver quality toolbox talks and other communications (e.g. Quality Alerts).
  • Develop, with Operations and Senior Management, Critical to Quality (CTQ) documentation to minimise the risk to business arising from defined critical activities.
  • Co-ordinate and manage operations, engineering and procurement reviews of non-conformances (NCRs) to close out and report internally.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a QA/QC Engineering role ideally within the Electrical, Civils or Infrastructure sectors.
  • A recognised Quality qualification would be a distinct advantage.
  • An Electrical qualification would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
