The Quality Manager Berlin is responsible for
- drive Quality for our high volume chemical filling lines as well as our high variation instrument manufacturing the related development activities and all associated processes
- manage, train and direct staff in the QA/QC department,
- establish and achieve yearly goals and objectives for the Berlin QARA teams to align with Global QARA strategic objectives and overall business objectives,
- implement and maintain the Quality improvement process including establishing multiyear targets for achieving the company’s strategic quality objectives
- sustain and improve a Quality Management System consistent with ISO9001 and other applicable standards or commercial requirements as needed
and will be located in Berlin
THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:
- At least 5 years in Quality functions with close relation to manufacturing
- Bachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering/Science.
- In depth knowledge of quality principles and technical tools with the ability to train and provide consultation.
- Experience in high volume mass production as well as low volume/high variation preferred
- ISO9001 auditor qualification (or similar) preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Cooperate with Berlin bases functions to
- Understand current state of internal and external Quality
- Identify improvement potential
- Drive improvement in alignment with local, regional, and global business objectives
- Includes but not limited to R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing
- Work with regional and global commercial teams to ensure they have product and systems information available for contracts, negotiations, bids, or tenders.
- Monitor quality metrics and progress toward quality goals including internal, incoming, and external quality and complaint handling process.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement projects and kaizen events as needed to ensure a robust quality improvement culture.
