Supply Chain Operations (SCO) leads the planning and execution of the IKEA goods flow, connecting partners and stakeholders in a seamless way. More than 1000 colleagues in Supply Chain Operations (SCO) connect our customers with IKEA products in a simple, affordable, and sustainable way. We contribute to customer satisfaction by securing availability, delivering the lowest cost over time always with an eye towards sustainability, and a high quality for all services.
Whenever our products don’t reach our customers in an excellent way, we, Quality in Supply Chain Operations, take the lead to investigate deviations, connect relevant stakeholders, and mediate the discussions to decide what do we do with the goods in stock, manage the financial implications, and enable to convey learnings into improvements.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

As a Quality Process Specialist, you will work collaboratively across various functions to enhance the quality processes within SCO by facilitating process improvement initiatives and developing innovative approaches and tools in one or more of the following areas:

  • Project Management: Lead and contribute to projects with the aim to achieve operational excellence.
  • Portfolio Management: Secure an efficient approach for steering Quality projects in SCO; ensure visibility of status, resources and goal progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Process documentation & verification: Responsible to develop, provide and maintain the process documentation and verification approach for Quality in SCO.
  • Network & Stakeholder governance: Establish and maintain the framework for meetings and forums where Quality in SCO is either in the lead or a participant. Secure proper representation, documentation, and accessibility of information regarding decisions taken.
  • Business Solutions & Intelligence: Secure quality systems and tools are functional, up and running and meet the need of the business. Act as main interface between business and IT development to continuously optimize the working procedures (e.g., automation) for systems & reporting tools, leading the creation of system change requests & adjustments.
  • Legal & Financial compliance: Ensure implementation of legal and financial requirements into our processes and ways of working
  • Performance Management: Secure existence and regular communication of KPIs related to performance of Quality processes & systems
  • Infrastructure Competence-Center: Secure a transparent and customized information sharing approach by owning and utilizing the different communication channels to support competence, awareness and change management activities regarding the Quality in SCO infrastructure.
