About the role: The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end execution of wind projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and time with high QHSE while adhering to Indian regulatory standards (e.g., MNRE guidelines, CEA approvals, and ISTS /STU connectivity). This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and mitigating risks in the dynamic Indian renewables market. Ideal for a proactive leader passionate about sustainable energy. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments for wind projects. Oversee project execution from site assessment and procurement to commissioning, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) coordination, quality control and Safety. Coordinate and manage local stakeholders during construction phase along with construction and development team for timely completion of the project. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal) and external stakeholders (government bodies, DISCOMs, transmission utilities) to secure approvals, land acquisition review for construction prospective, and power evacuation systems (up to 220 kV substations and transmission lines). Monitor project progress using tools like MS Project or Primavera, conducting regular site visits to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to ISO 9001/14001 standards. Identify and mitigate risks related to weather delays, supply chain disruptions, or policy changes and manage change order Prepare and present progress reports, financial forecasts, and post-commissioning handover documentation to senior management and clients. Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned from projects and staying updated on emerging technologies Contract and claim management during construction phase. Ensure all permits and approvals are secured for timely completion of the project. Qualifications & Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. · 12-15 years of experience in wind project management, with at least 3 years in the Indian renewables sector (EPC or IPP experience highly desirable). · Proven track record of delivering large scale wind/ solar /hybrid projects on time and within budget. · Familiarity with Indian regulations, including MNRE approvals, SECI bidding processes, and net metering policies. Preferred: · PMP or equivalent certification. · Experience with hybrid solar-wind or battery storage integration. · Knowledge of financing models like REC/RECs and carbon credits under India's INDC commitments.
