Job Description
As part of the RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Performing all required project RAMS tasks at system level, subsystem level or equipment level;
- Perform RAMS analyses you are in charge of, as per the applicable instructions/processes and other specific requirements committed to the Customer.
- Review and/or develop System Safety Assurance analyses and Safety assurance management plan, as per CENELEC standards mainly EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN50159
- Contribute to the assessment of the RAMS performance of the product and to the upstream identification of the necessary RAMS requirements to ensure the achievement of the RAMS targets.
- Review and develop systems HW/SW analyses such as PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, O&SHA using safety analysis techniques including FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, CCF
- Develop processes and procedures to set up and maintain Hazard Log Management tools.
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Masters’s degree in engineering, or electrical, or mechanical engineering;
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Rail Safety & RAM
- Knowledge of Safety & RAM engineering processes, methods and tools is mandatory;
- Understanding of railway systems
- Pro-active, flexible personality and open-minded spirit;
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN50159
- Good understanding of complex systems architectures, functional design, schematics, and drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and good communication capability to interact with internal and external technical team including external clients, vendors, and other team members.
