Description:

The RCM Business Analyst supports the Accounts Receivable department by reviewing payer behavior and procedure table parameters to ensure accuracy follow all company directives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business operations, Accounting or Healthcare administration preferred.
  • Two to three years’ experience in analytical work in reimbursement, financial management, managed care, or healthcare administration.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel and Database skills (e.g.,Visiquate)
  • Practice Management systems (e.g., EmBillz)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills both on the telephone and personally. Ability to read general business information. Ability to compose general correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of contact.
  • Ability to problem solve moderate to highly complex problems without supervision and to make recommendations to management regarding highly complex problems.
  • Organized, detail oriented with excellent follow through abilities. Can handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Reliable, team-oriented, pleasant with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of rules/regulations of Medicare/Medicaid and other government payors as well as commercial insurers.

Responsibilities:

  • Review offshore vendor scorecards to ensure proper workflow is followed.
  • Reviews and confirms correct reporting of vendor performance.
  • Works closely with AR leaders to obtain/enforce client requirements.
  • Designs and generates data queries to extract specific information from the Practice Management system for clients and operational staff.
  • Develops and uses database and tableau reports to monitor key data.
  • Maintain data of offshore vendors user access adds/deletes/changes.
  • Responsible for the data analysis across all vendor functions.
  • Other duties as assigne
