Location: London (City), 3+ days in office per week
Job Type: Contract (6-12 months)
About the Role: We seek a highly skilled and motivated Reference Data Team Lead to join our team at a global financial services provider. The successful candidate will manage a team of 7, maintain reference data for parties, SSR reference data, and SSI for corporate entities. This role requires a strong background in data management and a keen eye for detail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining reference data.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Familiarity with Calypso and Murex systems is advantageous.
- Experience in change management, particularly in system changes.
- Background in commodities, especially metals, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of reference data for parties, SSR reference data, and SSI for corporate entities.
- Lead a team of 7 members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across various systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage system changes.
- Utilise Calypso and Murex systems, amongst others
- Apply change management principles to oversee system changes and improvements.
- Leverage experience in commodities, particularly metals (preferred but not critical).
