Description:

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage multi-location teams of technical resources providing remote and on-site services and support where needed
  • Ensure that local teams deliver maintenance, troubleshooting and service delivery according to Sandoz standards
  • Act as interface between local service requests and the global horizontal delivery teams
  • Communicate and establish upcoming IT Infrastructure changes to the local communities.
  • Provide consolidated feedback about IT Infrastructure services to the horizontal delivery teams
  • Manage a team of Associate Directors and Senior Individual Contributors for infrastructure and local support by allocating financial and human capital and ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Retain, recruit, hire, manage and coach a highly specialized and regionally distributed team of technology professionals to execute our vision
  • Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Accountable for managing suppliers in ensuring they deliver quality services and meet all contractual obligations. Tracks actual utilization of services and reporting of supplier performance in meeting business service expectations and service levels.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • IT Infrastructure Management
  • IT Service Management Practices (ITIL Foundation Certification)

SKILLS:

  • Compliance, Risk Management (GxP: sound knowledge of validation practice and IT control standards
  • Systems Integration & Build (Dev-Ops mindset and full solution lifecycle understanding from idea to retirement)
  • Superior reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Documented experience working across IT Teams
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong long-term relationships, communications and in-teract professionally with a diverse group of Executives, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts in IT
  • Customer and service first attitude
