ASB Corporate Banking aspires to be the trusted advisor for the Bank’s Corporate clients by being the go-to partner for advice and a champion for NZ business. We have an exciting opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join our team based in Central Auckland to provide exceptional credit support to the Trans-Tasman, Partner Bank and CBANZ portfolio of new and existing ASB Corporate Banking customers.

Your extensive experience in providing financial products and services and managing key stakeholder relationships will be key to your success. Your portfolio of clients typically have sophisticated and complex banking requirements hence we are seeking a person with the ability to offer appropriate solutions or connect with your network of ASB specialists to provide bespoke financial solutions.
You will be able to demonstrate successful relationship management experience with a commitment to provide a strong focus on quality service provided to customers and stakeholders, bringing strong credit analysis skills for lending applications and possess a sound understanding of Banking products and services.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, Trans-Tasman and Partner Bank Relationship, you are responsible for the development and on-going management of the Trans Tasman, Partner Bank and CBANZ clients from within a current portfolio. You will assist clients and stakeholders to meet their financial objectives through promotion of bank products and services, which are suited to the needs of the customer. Apart from that, you will also:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of customer’s business and the industry in which they operate in
  • Deepen your client and stakeholder relationships and ensure you understand financial service requirements
  • Act as the Banks representative for all credit matters pertaining to Trans-Tasman / Partner Bank and CBA NZ portfolios and manage the profitability for these portfolios.
  • Ensure operational and lending risks, policies and guidelines are seamlessly adhered to and all business metrics are met on a timely manner
