Our »Broadband and Broadcasting« department drives the development of new technologies for wireless communication systems. Our services include system design and analysis, waveform design and algorithm development, real-time prototype implementation (hard- and software), protocol design, and complete system validation.

Responsibilities:

  • You will concentrate on system design and analysis, waveform design and algorithm development, as well as simulation verification in the 5G/6G environment.
  • To this end, you will use C/C++ to implement and test signal processing on the open source platform »OpenAirInterface 5G«, primarily on the physical and medium access control (MAC) layers.
  • Last but not least, you will analyze the latest 5G/6G technologies released by 3GPP by utilizing the developed real-time capable prototypes as well as powerful lab equipment (e.g., channel emulators, over-the-air technology, or live satellites)
