Description:
Position Purpose
The Research Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining information for the client through the Freedom of Information Act.
Responsibilities:
- Request FOIA’s for every case
- Investigate/Research via outbound calls and emails
- Coordinate with client coordinators to obtain fingerprints and signatures for FOIA requests.
- Prepare cover letters as needed, identify the information needed to submit a FOIA request.
- Coordinate with in-office administrative assistants to pay for FBI and State requests
- Manage email boxes to make sure record requests come back.
- Review record requests once received to pull high level details to provide to the Paralegals
