Description:

Position Purpose
The Research Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining information for the client through the Freedom of Information Act.

Responsibilities:

  • Request FOIA’s for every case
  • Investigate/Research via outbound calls and emails
  • Coordinate with client coordinators to obtain fingerprints and signatures for FOIA requests.
  • Prepare cover letters as needed, identify the information needed to submit a FOIA request.
  • Coordinate with in-office administrative assistants to pay for FBI and State requests
  • Manage email boxes to make sure record requests come back.
  • Review record requests once received to pull high level details to provide to the Paralegals
