ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Assistant with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You should possess operational knowledge of maintenance within residential properties and a solid understanding of relevant health and safety practices in this context.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in our team, providing professional support in soft facilities functions. This includes daily caretaking inspections, basic maintenance, and portering tasks within Manchester Met Residential Halls. With 2400 rooms across two bases, each day brings new challenges and tasks to tackle.
You’ll work flexibly as part of the Student Living Team, carrying out various accommodation and health and safety routines within the halls of residence. Compliance with UUK code, Manchester Met procedures, and Health & Safety Regulations is paramount, all while delivering top-notch customer service.
