Responsibilities:

MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE:

To put it simply, as the Resource Allocator - Team Leader you will be responsible to effectively manage the day-to-day requirements of the Resource Allocator Team to ensure that business expectations and KPIs are met, within budget.

IN A NUTSHELL, YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

  • Direct, coordinate and control the day-to-day operations and activities of the national Resource Allocation Team to ensure each location achieves their daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  • Support the Operations & Resource Planning Manager effectively manage the rostering process, systems and data reporting across a labour force of up to 4,000
  • Plan and map the utilisation of resources (Resource Allocators).
  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to national RA team.
  • Provide informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback through an annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
  • Ensure compliance with established departmental and company guidelines and procedures to provide high quality service and outstanding internal and external customer care.
  • Proactively manage change and coach the team through any new process.
  • Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders and their Business Units to ensure the success of any WFP initiatives.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

  • Proven knowledge and experience in a Supervisory role.
  • Workforce Planning experience would be highly regarded
  • Previous demonstrated experience with staffing, planning and people management
  • Advanced computer literacy skills with planning and rostering systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, proactiveness and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work under pressure.
  • Ability to model, influence and encourage positive behaviours within the team.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry would be highlight advantageous.
  • Competent in documentation and records management.
  • As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
