BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Retail Executive plays a pivotal role in providing excellent customer service, promoting and selling landscaping products, managing inventory, creating visually appealing displays, processing orders efficiently, staying updated on industry trends, maintaining records, collaborating with team members, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting in promotional activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Proactively engage with customers to promote products and drive sales. Utilize your knowledge of landscaping requirements to recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of all products. Coordinate with the inventory team to replenish stock as needed and maintain organized displays within the retail outlets.
- Assist in maintaining attractive and visually appealing displays to showcase products effectively. Ensure that displays are regularly refreshed and aligned with seasonal promotions or themes.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or pickup. Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, to fulfill orders and address any customer concerns or special requests.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to management regarding market insights and opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movements. Generate reports as required by management to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other retail staff and departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and customer privacy. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing retail operations.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events or sales campaigns to drive foot traffic and increase sales. Actively engage with customers during events to promote products and enhance brand awareness.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Address customer feedback and concerns promptly to foster loyalty and repeat business.
