RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

KEY SKILLS:

  • Salesforce Development and Certifications: Strong expertise in Salesforce development, administration, and integration. Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are highly preferred.
  • SharePoint: Experience with SharePoint or other collaboration and document management tools to streamline communication and content management.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar to create actionable insights and reports for the sales team.
  • Programming and Scripting: Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to enhance automation and data manipulation processes.
  • Prioritization and ROI Forecasting: Ability to prioritize initiatives and predict their impact on revenue growth.
  • Time Management: Strong multitasking, prioritization, and delegation skills.
  • Advanced Communication: Exceptional skills in communication, including the ability to convey technical matters to non-specialists and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The primary goal of the Revenue Operations Manager is to accelerate B2B revenue growth by optimizing systems, particularly Salesforce, and enhancing sales enablement through data-driven analysis and process optimization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sales team operates efficiently and effectively in a competitive market, with a focus on aligning sales and marketing efforts, streamlining delivery and onboarding processes to ensure faster revenue recognition.
A key responsibility of a Revenue Operations Manager is to provide the business with the data needed to make decisions. They will work with the Growth Leadership Team to identify key strategic projects to improve revenue efficiency and effectiveness.

Examples of the types of projects and remits include:

  • Using Salesforce to improve lead generation and conversion through bots and automated emails.
  • Improving sales velocity with an integrated quote and proposal generator on Salesforce.
  • Improving customer response time through Service Cloud and ticketing bots.
  • Improve Knowledge and information sharing with software such as ‘Highspot’.
  • Training programs.
  • Creating templates, worksheets and presentations.
  • Sales strategies and initiatives.

The Revenue Operations Manager will also ensure consistency and quality control pertaining to the organization’s messaging to unify and strengthen the company’s brand.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Systems Optimization: Enhance the CRM (Salesforce) and related technologies to automate and streamline sales, account management, and support processes, ensuring seamless operations and faster revenue recognition. Experience in Salesforce development and administration is highly preferred.
  • Sales Enablement: Oversee the creation and management of sales content, tools, and resources. Develop and implement sales training programs, including onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, to ensure the sales team is equipped to succeed.
  • Operations Enablement and Process Optimization: Drive operational excellence by optimizing sales processes, reducing inefficiencies, and ensuring consistency in execution. Streamline the delivery and onboarding processes to accelerate revenue recognition.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales performance from lead generation through to deal closure. Utilize KPIs, metrics, and sales enablement data to identify gaps, track effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Projects: Lead and support strategic initiatives such as market expansions, acquisitions and onboarding of new systems to drive growth and enhance operational capabilities.
  • Funnel Management Technologies: Implement innovative funnel management technologies such as chatbots, lead scoring tools, AI-powered sales assistants, automated email sequencing, and customer data platforms (CDPs) to enhance lead engagement and conversion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging, unified processes, and the effective use of resources across teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic direction of the sales organization by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple sales enablement and operational projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
