Description:

DETAILS

  • Department: ICU
  • Schedule: 7pm-7:30am, 36 hours/week; every third weekend & holiday rotation
  • Hospital: Ascension Providence Rochester
  • Location: Rochester, MI

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Obtain and maintain BLS certification on completion of hospital orientation required.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license at time of hire/transfer date required.
  • Current ACLS or obtain within one (1) month required.
  • Current TNCC preferred.
  • Current CCRN National Certification preferred.

Education:

  • Graduate from an accredit School of Nursing at time of hire/transfer date required.
  • BSN preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Critical Care area within the last three (3) years required.
  • Successful completion of the Critical Care BKAT exam within one (1) month required.
  • Successful completion of ECG interpretation exam by end of orientation required.
  • TCAR class within one (1) year required.
  • Successful completion of ECCO program for all trainee positions by end of orientation required.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate with Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital you will have the opportunity to

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.

  • This position involves direct patient care and supervision of other health care providers. Use and disclosure of personal health information on a “need to know basis” may be necessary for purposes of treatment and hospital operations.
  • Perform all other duties and assignments as requested, i.e., special projects and committees.
