Structure: Reports Directly to the Operator
Role Description: The Director of Sales & Brand Growth manages, implements, and executes effective strategies to grow sales and brand recognition in the community. This position actively seeks opportunities to build the brand through strategic partnerships and initiatives. This position works closely with the Operator to ensure our vision and core values are the foundation on which we grow the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, Business, Economics or other related discipline (required).
- Master’s degree in Marketing Management (preferred).
- At least 3+ years of experience in marketing and sales environment.
- Professional experience in at least one of the following areas: restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, food and beverage marketing, consulting, or media.
- Experience with marketing analytics and insights.
- A good understanding of trends in the industry and the dynamic nature of the market
- A creative and analytical thinker with a strong strategic mind and a willingness to take risks.
- Manages deadlines and quickly adapts and re-prioritizes to deliver results.
- Ability to “think on their feet” in front of an audience.
- High attention to detail.
- Maintains highest level of confidentiality.

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we’ve served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Success in the Brand and Sales Growth Manager role will be determined by performance in the following areas of responsibility:
Sales Growth: Partner with Operator to help create and manage an overall sales growth plan with corresponding strategies and expected outcomes for Chick-fil-A Square One. Continuously assess performance, facilitate initiatives, and create monthly, quarterly, and annually goals for the following deliverables:
Sales: Ensure ads/posts are fresh and targeted towards a specific channels and appropriate media is used to drive traffic.
- Sales, Transaction Count, Check Average: Identify sales channel opportunities by discovering current trends, creating strategic initiatives to maximize our impact in Mississauga areas. Extracting relevant data for the restaurant in making informed decisions with regards to planning and execution.
- Catering and Delivery: facilitate with booking for events and all necessary communication for all parties
- Catering and Outside Sales:
- Implement strategies to grow catering orders
- Identify opportunities to create customer awareness.
- Build repeat customer business through networking, business contacts, and consistent remarkable experiences.
- Assist when needed in operational execution and other initiatives deemed necessary to create long-lasting relationships.
- Mobile Ordering:
- Consistently integrate a mobile ordering strategy to increase sales through strategic initiatives via social media.
- Drive mobile ordering to ensure it is top-of-mind for our customers.
- Maintain targeted advertising and efforts to build Chick-fil-A Square One Catering
- Guest Experience (in store): Assist in the restaurant when available to help create remarkable experiences for guests, build chemistry with the team, and stay connected to the business.
- Brand Growth: Ensure all media communication is current, free from error, and that we use the proper assets
- Community:
- Build the brand increase Chick-fil-A Square One awareness in Mississauga and grow community engagement.
- Facilitate any donation requests while managing a budget for the restaurant and specific process for guests to make these requests.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Identify partners in our community who can assist in building the brand.
- Create partnerships with organizations, being careful that these organizations are not driven by political affiliation or any other polarizing issues or topics that would cause distraction from original intent.
- Media, Promotions, and Communications
- Adhere to Chick-fi-A custom creative guidelines.
- Use relevant and necessary digital media channels and strategically communicate any product offerings to our guests to help drive trial of new product(s) with accurate launch date to prevent confusion and build excitement.
- Social Media
- Broadcast relevant posts in conjunction with local/national media to drive consistent messaging.
- Create a social media calendar, which shows how social/digital channels will be used in sales and brand growth initiatives. Execute on-time content to ensure successful engagement
- Protect the Brand
- Ensure we represent the brand to the highest-level both inside and outside the restaurant.
- Make certain we are doing things with excellence, honor, dignity, and respect.
- Follow Chick-fil-A guidelines and procedures in all areas of the business, including all aspects of food safety.
